About Furkhan Dandia, CCC, MBA

My name is Furkhan Dandia, and I am a therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate adversity, build resilience, and reconnect with their sense of purpose.

Before entering the mental health field, I spent many years working as an engineer in the corporate world. Personal challenges—including divorce, career transitions, and rebuilding through adversity—deepened my understanding of how overwhelming life can feel and ultimately inspired me to pursue a Master’s degree in Psychology.

Through my own healing journey, I came to understand the transformative power of therapy, self-reflection, and meaningful support. I also recognized the deep shame many individuals, particularly men, carry around failure, vulnerability, and the act of seeking help.

These experiences shaped my commitment to creating a supportive, compassionate space where clients feel understood and empowered.

My work is grounded in the belief that healing is not about perfection—it is about building awareness, challenging unhelpful patterns, embracing growth, and developing the resilience to move forward with clarity and purpose.

Today, my goal is to provide the support, perspective, and therapeutic guidance that can help others navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.

Resilience rooted in adventure.

Through my own journey, I came to understand that everyone carries struggles, everyone has their own story, and everyone deserves support.

I know what it feels like to fear judgment, face personal shortcomings, and experience moments of isolation. But healing often begins when we recognize that we are not alone—and that growth requires compassion, self-awareness, and forgiveness.

My work focuses heavily on helping individuals explore childhood experiences, trauma, and the subconscious patterns that shape their thoughts, relationships, and sense of self.

Early life experiences often influence how we navigate the world in ways we may not fully recognize. These deeply rooted beliefs can leave us feeling as though life is happening to us, rather than something we can actively shape.

My goal is to help clients build awareness, understand the origins of these patterns, and begin healing in ways that foster resilience, clarity, and purposeful living.

I believe true healing involves both mind and body—working through emotional pain, limiting beliefs, and chronic stress to create healthier patterns that support lasting transformation.
